There’s no breakfast more satisfying than good old-fashioned pancakes: fluffy, buttery, golden and classic sweet. And these tried-and-true bases are super easy to make, using only ingredients you probably already have in your pantry right now.
Serve with eggs, bacon and sausages. Or serve it simply on its own, topped with butter and syrup (or even fresh berries and vanilla whipped cream, for the corporate fancy). Combine with a cup of cold orange juice or a cup of steamed coffee. Perfection!
And if you have leftovers, use them to make pancakes the next day. (But we wouldn’t be surprised if all of that stuff disappeared quickly.)
°1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
°3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
°1 teaspoon of salt
°1 tablespoon of white sugar
°3 tablespoons melted butter
°1 1/4 cup milk
*How to make:
1- Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a large bowl.
2- Whisk the melted butter, eggs and milk until smooth. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes.
3. Heat skillet on medium-high heat. spray with cook spray. Pour the batter into the hot pan, about 1/4 cup batter per pancake. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until bubbles appear on the sides and in the center of each pancake. Flip and cook until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
